Common questions
How fast can you come out?
Usually same-day or next-day. Call before noon and we can often get to you the same afternoon. Emergency visits (leaking fridge, gas smell from a range) get priority.
Do you charge for the estimate?
The diagnostic visit is $99, and it's waived entirely if you go ahead with the repair. You only pay it if you decide not to fix the appliance.
Will you tell me if it's not worth fixing?
Yes. If the repair costs more than about half the price of a comparable new unit, we'll say so and recommend replacing it. We'd rather install your new appliance than sell you a repair that doesn't make sense.
Do you work weekends?
Yes — Saturdays 8am to 6pm, at the same rates. No weekend surcharge. We're closed Sundays.
Do you install appliances I bought somewhere else?
Absolutely. Big-box store, online, used from a neighbor — we install and hook up any appliance on our list, and we can haul away the old one.
